From a young age, my father had put me into little rocks. I fell in love with curling. I played until I hit high school and then focused on other sports. But I have always been a fan, watching every Tim Hortons Brier, Scotties Tournament of Hearts and Grand Slam events.
Last year the Tim Hortons Brier came to Kingston, growing up in the area I was excited to finally get to go to a live event.
I managed to spend 6 six games including the gold medal game. But the high light of the whole experience was Cheryl Bernard stopping to talk with me and take a picture. I was so excited and couldn’t believe that just happened. The Tim Hortons Brier in Kingston was my best curling experience.
